For only the third time in six decades, Chalet Palms invites you to immerse yourself in a journey through time and design at this year's Modernism Week 2024 event—a celebration of Midcentury Modern living and architectural brilliance. As daylight mellows into twilight, join us poolside for an enchanting evening of cocktails and small bites, intertwining communal spirit with the visionary craftsmanship of celebrated architect Barry Berkus (Park Imperial South and Merito Manor in Palm Springs.)

Beyond the poolside cocktails and retro snacks, guests are welcome to step inside two meticulously restored residences that showcase Berkus’ clever use of space, highlighting what has become classic Midcentury California Modern.

In 1964, pioneering developer Basil Collier recognized Berkus' emerging talent, entrusting him with crafting 32 units on a pristine three-acre canvas, seizing one of the last expansive parcels in the prestigious Magnesia Falls Cove neighborhood.

Chalet Palms' terraced property blends privacy with community, where mature palm and olive trees frame a pool area for shared enjoyment. Each dwelling boasts Berkus' forward-thinking design—floor-to-ceiling glass blurs indoor and outdoor spaces, all sheltered under A-frame roofs. Unique features like flex-use dens and "Jack-and-Jill'' showers reflect his masterful use of limited space.
